I am not playing anymore

Featured Replies

I have just motored over from Essex to South West Wales for a weeks holiday.

I was looking forward to adding an occasional update on Yetis seen en route

Are most Yetis sold in Wales or are most Yeti owners on holiday there?? there were loads!

We went to visit a beautiful little town called Cilgerran in Cardigan. It's basically a two horse town with a tumble down castle.

It also had two SMs there - three including mine.

In the car park for the Dylan Thomas boat house were another two

There was never a day when at least two more weren't spotted

On the way home I counted a further five heading West !

I give up - I can't keep count any more!

but am gratified my car choice is supported by so many people

You cheeky b@@ger, calling Cilgerran a two horse town!!!

I'm sure I counted at least 5 when I was there last.

No don't give up Bohica, keep the Yeti spirit flowing within your veins.

+1, now not as elusive as it used to be.

I spent 5 weeks over the summer and saw only one Yeti - and that was in the Marbella showroom during my 2 weeks in Spain!

Seem as elusive around this part of Hampshire as the real thing (although I get mine in next few days so i will see at least one every day!)

There are now loads in Yorkshire, (undestandable I suppose), rarely do a reasonable trip now around here without seeing one or more. Eg parked near one at Halfords today

Real Yetis live in mountains.

Wales have mountains (aplenty).

So in my book it is only natural that metal Yetis would flock there en masse! :giggle:

I'm with you on that. We are just back from a week in Yorkshire (Levisham and Malham) and I think I spotted more Yetis than we have seen in the previous 20 months of ownership. No flash-and-wave opportunities though as we were in the wrong car - but if anyone on here noticed a very grubby dark blue XF going the other way, it was probably me.
