Is a Service Plan available on Skodas and in particular SMs, currently have one running with our Golf and its about to undergo its first service tomorrow so got me wondering if a similar scheme was running for Skodas. The VW plan covers 3 years or 30k miles (3 services)and cost I think was £299 although it was thrown in by VW as part of our deal. As I'm heading towards ownership of a SM I ask,

Is one available?

How much?

Does it represent value?

Are the service department as thorough as they are not getting paid directly from the customer?

There is, and I had it. Brutally expensive though and totally inflexible - even though the contract says the mileage can be changed in agreement with Skoda, and even though I was told it could be reduced when I signed up it turns out it can only be increased - I wasn't impressed.

Plus they don't replace punctured tyres, only worn ones, and given how infrequently the Yeti needs servicing it's a complete rip-off. I cancelled.

This seems like the same deal as VW. I can search and find info on the VW plan but cannot find anything relating to the Skoda plan, is it a manufacturers plan or dealer specific?

Arranged by Skoda Finance. I picked up a leaflet last time I was in my dealer.

No. It is just run by them.
