Might the next Superb be based on this?

yes and vision d will sit in the middle of the fabia and octavia or visa versaemoticon-0148-yes.gif

It looks like a peugeot 406 from the rear...!

+ 1 I was just about to say that and saw you beat me too it!

Looks alfaish from the side...

Seat got the guy from Alfa didn't they? He's their current chief designer i think. Well, looks like he's ocntinued the Alfa line there, albeit in narrower and slightly less appealling mode.

Personally, I feel VW have sort of tied Skoda's designers' hands a bit, what with the MissionL look and so on. I think they are aiming squarely at Volvo/Saab as their main rivals and have developed Skoda to become somewhat solid looking for the near future, rather than sleek looking, as they seem to be trying to aim with Seat (but not quite managing as well as at Alfa Romeo itself).

This concept is nice, but have you seen current Seats?. They just don't look quite right, or they look like just disappeared Audis. Saying that, the Altea for me is their most comprehensive model. It looks different, imho.

SEAT's look better than they used to, whoever designed the last Toledo probably had glasses like re entry shields, it was pure nasty! That latest SEAT concept looks ok, but in reality it will be toned down, due to the ol 'Cost Effective' chestnut!

Looks like the ba5tard love child of a one night stand between a Mondeo and an Alfa 159

Still quite pretty though :)
