1.6 greenline

Featured Replies

my cousin has a 2010 greenline 1.6 tdi cr and feels it is a bit underpowerd when fully loaded is this ment to happen or is ot because it doesent have to much power?

I think 105BHP in a car the size of a Superb, it ain't going to be a flier, but that ain't what it's about Economy is the green lines forte not power.

it also has longer gearing all in the aim of economy over power.

My first Superb 2 was a 1.9Tdi Greenline 2009 i always felt it was under powered full or not loved the car but just not enough power , well i did change it from an 06 Vrs 2.0 petrol. I now have the 2Tdi Cr 170Bhp Elegance different league of engine much more power

I trialled a new 2011 greenline and generally thought it was fine, but as soon as I went up a steep hill or had four passengers it laboured a little. the motrway overtaking power was not great, but I could have coped with.

in the end wnet for the 2L 140bhp (cheaper on my tax cos its a company lease). Happy as larry with it so far and enough power for me -simply "floats" down the motorway :)
