re trimming the seats

Featured Replies

is it possible at all to get the original vrs seats and door cards re-trimmed? i am sick to death of cleaning the white/silver cloth bit in the middle and if possible would like to replace with a nice skoda green leather insert something similar to this

ignore my dodgy photoshop skills im just looking to see if it is possible? also ignore the white carpet as im currently in the process of sourcing one as that gets on my tits as well

Yes its possible,i had my seat centres and door cards retrimmed in grey leather so at a glance they looked the same but was easier to clean but these were done a few years back and through neglect the drivers seat looks pretty bad so rather than re trimming again i was considering using a dying kit from furniture clinic to change from grey and was considering green centres after seeing green centred seats in a new scirocco last year but still havnt done anything about it

Only issue with dying kits is if you don't get the level of wash right you could have a wish washy finish.

i dont know mate have to ring dave

he had been doing it for 20 years and he is realy good

prob have to leave the seats with him though

and i know hes realy busy at the moment

he might be able to spray them as he was doing a camper carpets when i went down last time
