Ive just put my vw caddy van 1.9sdi (03 plate)up for sale and am thinking about getting a fabia vrs

just wondered if they have any major problems to look out for?

so apart from the odd bush and leaking rear doors that dont really suffer many common problems such as clutch/flywheel,gearbox,turbos,rust (expensive problems)

clutch will need changing if you remap, its pretty much a given unless you get a clutch friendly remap.

i haven't owned mine long but from what i found out when buying mine recently is they are generally bomb proof :)

make sure you get one thats been well looked after/serviced...dats bout it.

Clutches and turbo's are weak

Tbh i think they do have a few problems much like all VAG cars of the time
