What type of bulbs for 2004 vRS Octy?

Heyup,

Bit confused - im looking for some new bulbs for the main beam on my 2004 Octavia vRS. I've looked on Powerbulbs which reckons i need H4's, however Autobulbs states they should be H1's

Any ideas which is the correct ones chaps?

They are H4 twin filament bulbs, unless you are lucky enough to have factory fit HID's then you need a H1 bulb for the mainbeam and D2s iirc for the dip.

I thought that was the case, H4's it is for me then. I will some Philips Xtreme Vision's ordered as winter is on its way it seems :(
