First post here ! Niels is my name and I am from the Netherlands.

I have picked up my brand new Octavia vRS TSi DSG yesterday.. What a car !

All the options are present (in my country) except for any sat-nav.

I have signed up to the forum to find out more about the car, and things that can be adjusted to my likings.

Negatives so far;

- fog lights go on when turning - I seriously dont understand this since I have AFL xenons - Can this be turned off ?

- MDI interface in combination with iPhone 4 - I cannot do anything in the iPod part of the car, the Swing radio takes over the controls which I do not like - I want to swap this for a Dension Gateway - thoughts ?

IMHO the turning foglights are a good thing but can be turned off if necessary.

Going round the dealership at the end of next week to get them switched off. I might change my mind during the week though

I am also getting the hang of the MDI - just a case of press all buttons to see what happens
