Just wanted to get peoples opinions on my car. . .

Got it in feb this year,1 lady owner,39k miles, an 07 car on a 56 plate . . .

first addition to the car was the bonnet bra coz ive always bin a fan of the euro look. . .

i also sticker bombed the rear regplate recess. . .

after 2 months i was used to the power so took it to JBS for a stage 1 map. . .took it to a rolling road day and it produced 163bhp and 264ft/pound of tourque. . shortly after the turbo went bang and was replaced with a new standard unit. . .so im hoping that may have pushed the bhp and torque up.

the car then stood like this for a few months. . .

saved up a bit and ordered a new set of wheels and eibach pro -25mm springs

With the springs fitted-

the springs made the handeling ALOT better instantly and stopped alot of the ducking and diving under acceleration and braking.

next was the wheels(17" lenso bsx with black centres). . .instantly transforming the cars image. . .

=D ..i think it needs to come down a bit more so im looking into coilovers but also have quotes for airride (Y)

shortly after i tinted the front lights and fogs with fly eyes kit.(this is visible in the wheels photo)

mixing it up a bit a got a jap style towing eye at USC. . .i quite like the look.

and most recently ive had the exhaust done-turbo back decat 3"stainless with twin 3" exits,this has opened the car up loads. . .the difference is unreal.

now im gonna start saving for a FMIC and maby stage 2 mapping. . .anyone give me advice on fmic's?. . .ive heard some bad things about forge front mounts but there doesnt seem to be many other options. . .

Also fitted a leon cupra r splitter,yet another lil mod that seems to make the car stand out.

Good job mate, looks good. Like the bra, didnt know you could get them. Id like one, more to stop the stone chips than for the look though.

yeah- was 70quid from autobra. . .the bonnet and front end of mine looks like its bin constanly drove behind a wagon carrying pebbles. . so altho the bra for me is more about looks its also very practical to protect whats left of decent paint lol.

love the stickerbomb i quite fancied doing the number plate surround on the front and the spoiler to cover the lacquer bubble.

if i am honest im not too keen on the wheels :/ dunno what it is, just cant get away with them, think its the silver bit in the middle? not sure. lovely car though, wish i got a yellow one now

i love the wheels it was either them or some rota grids or summat simelar but i prefere the euro look. . .im thinking bout ordering anutha 2 wheels for the back but an inch wider.

also thinking of getting the nut covers in the centre of the wheels colour coded with the car coz i think it looks cool

i also think if i get the car sat down a bit more it'll pull the wheels off better,as i say ive got airride quote but need alot of saving up b4 thats gonna happen lol.

The only way you'd pull those wheels off would be if it was down and out. If you want the euro look then maybe smoothed bumpers. Not bonnet bra's and stickerbombed. Looks cack if i'm honest.

As far as FMIC`s go, the main choices are Forge or seat sport. Both do the job, seat sport is larger, but the forge is purpose built. Not much in it cost wise now, message forge for a decent price. Also worth noting, you`ll not get much more power without a bigger turbo

Sorry to say it mate but the only thing I like about that is the exhaust. First thing I'd do would be to chuck the bonnet bra in the bin!

Each to their own though, it's different I suppose.

I've done the whole down and out with my old car n its all well n good but super impractical. . Avoiding every lil pot hole and creeping over speed bumps. . If i go any lower i can't get it on my drive and dnt like the thought of leaving it on the road. . .so im trying to keep it all practical but different at the same time. . .

Yeah the wheels are coming off for winter,there a pain now tbh,cleaning em 3times a week to keep the risk of corrosion down.

The bra is from autobra UK. . You should be able to find em on Google easy enough.

But it looks half arsed without the drop. I'd just get the normal wheels done is gloss black. That would look really cool.

Love the colour! not to keen on the bra! but its not the car i just dont like them in general sorry bud! wheels are okay the black centre isnt for me, get it lowered on standard wheels and bin the bra and it will look ace!
