New 2012 Skoda Badge

Featured Replies

Presumably, the current range of cars will stay in production for the forseeable future, so I'm wondering if the latest badge will be on all models from 2012.

In some ways, I'm surprised that the new badge hasn't appeared on new vehicles already, given that the image is used extensively everywhere else.

Does anyone know if the new badge will be fitted to all cars manufactured from 2012 onwards or will it be reserved for the new models only?

I have a Fabia vRS estate on order, it's due for delivery in March, so I'm hoping that the new style badge will appear on it.

(I originally posted this question in another area of this site, with no luck in getting an answer. This section appears to get far more traffic, so I hope I'll have more luck here)

(Thanks to MartynVRS for your input so far)

I would guess it will be reserved for new production models :envy:

You can always buy and retro fit ;)

Hmmm, that's what I was thinking may be the case, but it could be a poor commercial decision and send a confusing message to potential purchasers of the current range.

I stand to be corrected, but I can't think of another car manufacturer that has run two different corporate logos across their vehicle range.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

Of what I've seen of the new badge I think it's monochrome look would go well with a white and black estate. I'd be tempted to retrofit providing the risk of damaging the car was minimal. I think the steering wheel one would be pretty hard to change

When Vauxhall launched the insignia it carried their new badge where as the rest of the range carried the old badge until the model was replaced or given a face lift :)

Chris is there a part number for those?

Interesting. I prefer the current one.

Not sure I would pay £ 60 to change all the badges....

We are all different though.
