new wheels on my fabia

Featured Replies

just got my fabia, plans are to use it on the odd track day but also daily it.

i am going to lower it on kw v1's and want to put some lightweight wheels on.

i love the look of Compomotive TH MONO's but other than custom sizes i can only find them in 16's. with a 195/45 tyre would this look stupid? and also if i went for a 312 and 256 brake conversion would these fit under?

any help would be great. cheers

a

If you went for them in 16 specify it's for a fabia I'm guessing vrs and that you want them in standard tyre size of 205/45/16

Th's have massive brake clearance.. You'll fit 312's under them easily!

The brake clearance will be no issue. I ran 195`s on a 7J rim, looked ok. They will make 17`s, polo1600i has some on his fabia, they look really good. But off the shelf its 16`s only.

16inch alloys on a Fabia are perfect!

yerr i saw his they look awesome, i want to run slightly more profile so i think it would be a good idea to buy smaller and go with a standard tyre size.

best fit for the fabia vrs are 16's :) standard size so they must be the best. As for clearance you will have enough room for 312's.

Tyre wise im running 7.5j with 195/45/16 so there is enough stretch to fit nicely. The fronts are all the way down with 15mm spacers and rears all the way down with cups in 25mm spacers. If you require a pic to see how they sit and how the tyre looks, give us a shout :)

pm'd :)

Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's are still the lightest alloy available at sub £500 a set.

16's with 7j wifth you should get up to 225/45 or there.

but for a fabia i would say 205/45 or 205/40 would give enough grip.
