looking at getting my vrs 57 plate petrol remapped and after a bit of advice.I live in sunderland(next to newcastle) and want to stay local if I can so whos any good near me.will I have to replace any parts,think I read on here about some part that can fail but not sure.If I do have to replace anything how much would it be and were to get them.Hope that makes sence :yes:

There's a Revo agent in Whitley Bay or your alternative option is to get superchips bluefin or shark sts through the post. I can only comment on revo and it's very good on the tsi. Also very well tried and tested on tfsi. On the tfsi engine and some tsi the diverter valve is a weak part but easily and cheaply replaced.

cheers for that should I just replace the diverter valve if or when it gos,like for like or fit a after market one?

There's a revised spec one available, probably worth getting replaced in readiness otherwise you'll split it once remapped. Do a search as not so long ago someone posted the part numbers.
