Disappointing Service

Featured Replies

Can't really offer any input in to your problem, but for your next service might I recomend JabbaSport who are based just outside Peterborough. A short run up the A1 and you'll be there in no time. Top quality service and a lot less than the main dealers

It's pretty much the fact, that the car dealer has you over a barrel for three years under their warranty small print.

Whether the service work is carried out by an independent garage or at the dealership garage, get the little service book stamped as proof.

It's when the vehicle gets older than the initial 3 years, that servicing the car yourself, you start to gain money saved from labour costs.

Labour charge's for a full service real money can be saved, without lacking anything being missed, by DIY.

ie Brake fluid change £50.00 when my car was two years old, i bought DOT4 Fluid and a bleed-yourself kit came to £10.00, a £40 saving !!

Money is not a problem to some, with no interest to save cash, but some like myself, need to save money where we can.emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Off topic - does Kelvin still work at ALS?

No, he moved on shortly after he sold me my vRS. Timing was just a coincidence .... I think!

Sarge.
