strong mix of APC amd then clay the car

fairy liquid!!!!

and VERY hot water.

Virosol if it's still available

Another vote for Mild Green

buy some daisy or g101 and wash with this at a weak solution of maybe 1 part daisy/g101 to 10 water or if theres a few layers maybe a little stronger of 1:6 make sure you rinse after and then rewash completely. alternatively clay and then wash

As above fairy liquid and hotter than average water!

Fairy washing up liquid and very very hot water. This does the job then wash with better stuff and polish etc :)

Claying and or APC. I (IMHO) would never let fairy liquid near the car!

just use paint thinners

just use paint thinners

I have to say, I wouldn't use such a harsh chemical on my car.

Strong APC is a much better suggestion.

As has been suggested, hot wash will degrade the wax depending on what wax you have applied though?

Also a strong Snow Foam solution will also degarde the wax easily, one of the reasons I don't use Snow Foam on my own motor........

A heat gun, or nitromors should get rid of it with no problem. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Lol while slightly humorous, I probably wouldn't go with the Fairy Liquid option myself!

I would recommend Autoglym HD Paint Cleanser. Have not used it myself but we all know AG stuff is pretty tidy. Besides, their HD wax is awesome so I have fullest confidence

Would Meguiars paint cleaner work

More than likely as this has micro abrasives in it......
