After discovering I have a petrol gearbox fitted turns out I need a gearbox with code euh. I have found one online that comes from a mk4 golf and it has the code eus will it be the same. Also if I was to fit a gearbox with code egr would this physically fit and work any help would be great?

what car is it for?

The 5 speed boxes are 02J and the 6 speed is the 02M.

I think all the 02J are the same and the 02M are the same so depending on the one fitted any code will.

The 3 letter code represents the gear ratios iirc.
