any idea how to remove the hand brake surround

the whole plastic part inc the rear ashtray

it pulls up at the front but cant work out how the back comes off

and my partner dropped the spare house key down the gap somehow and got to take it off to find it

also anyone know hot to remove the dash speedo etc clocks

as there is a bit of silver foil in the plastic been there since i had it

not doing any harm so if to much hastle will leave it

You need to remove the rear cup holder by pulling it straight up, underneath are two torx headed bolts. Remove them and the surround will come off.
