ive noticed an ipod cable in the glovebox, i thought you'd get a choice? i dont want ipod anything so should they ask me or are we stuck with whats sent? failing that, anyone got a link to an ebay seller theyve used with a cable for a usb flash pendrive?

now ill just sit and twiddle me thumbs a little :yes:

As for the MDI, you should be able to ask if you can change the cable for a USB although you're meant to specify before the car comes. Saying that, if the dealer doesn't ask you, how the hell are you meant to know? I had that same issue but after reading on here, I called him and told him which one I wanted.

If your planning to use the USB cable to plug other cables into it beware.

The one Skoda supplies has a wire missing from inside and it will not allow sound to be transfered from one cable to another.

I went down this route and it didn't work out. you will need a cable for each device ( unless they have the same connectors)

So you can't go MDI > USB > Apple cable > iPod

You can only go with MDI > USB > USB Device (Pen/Hard Drive) or MDI >iPod cable > iPod

Correct They did it that way so you have to buy a cable for each device. Makes them more money

i like that they do the vRS in Black, certainly very stealth looking if you can get it with the black pack, black alloys and pitch black tints on the rear half of the car,

not sure if it's still legal to tint the front passenger side too, i know you can't tint the drivers side by more than 30% and most standard windows are tinted my 25-27% anyway.

Then you have one stealthly looking car

Guy that commutes the opposite way from me has a black one, and if it didn't have DRL's on and the badging on the front, i'd never have even thought it was a VRS. VERY Stealthy!

im going to ask about the delay compen next week, maybe get a free service or something. i dont blame the dealer but i think Slowda need to build some bridges
