Phone missing from maxidot menu

Featured Replies

Wife has a monte with bluetooth. Today her phone failed to pair with the car. When i tried i noticed the phone had gone from the maxidot. Does anyone know a simple fix or is it back to the dealers. To clarify the entire phone option on the maxidot has gone. Its not just a pairing problem.

Are the phone options on the radio still there? Does it show bluetooth on or off?

There is no phone option on the radio. There does not seem to be any bluetooth on/off either.

Do you have steering wheel controls?

First check is the fuse box. The bluetooth module should be under th passenger seat, so you could try an unplug and replug

Definate dealer re/set I think, wouldn't be a fuse as it's integrally within the unit, seems to have deleted itself from maxi dot, check in your user manual for the fuse number it will be in the back of the manual, then check it under steering wheel plastic cover about 10 inches long by 2 inches wide just pop it off , on that cover there is a pair of fuse pliers and check fuse, I'm pretty sure there ain't one specifically for the Bluetooth but I may be wrong!

Try a reset of the maxidot, go to set up menu and there should be an option to reset to factory defaults, try that to see if it brings it back

+1 to try before going to dealer.
