Octavia clicking relay problems!

Featured Replies

Hi, new to forums.I currently own an 07 Octavia estate 1.9tdi 4x4.

i am hearing clicking noises coming from the passenger side of the dashboard,

(around the glovebox)sounds like a relay, does anyone know what the problem is.Happens

when car is turning. Thanks mjmd.

Happens when car Is turning? That'll be the indicators!

Sorry couldn't resist ;-)

Seriously though have you got cornering fogs?

Also a worn drive shaft or CV joint could cause clicking sound which might sound like it's coming through the dash. Try driving in a circle on full lock with window down and see if noise comes from engine bay.

Like the joke!

Not cv joint, definately coming from inside the car near glovebox.

Sorry can't think why a relay would be clicking.

Have you got climatronic dual zone air con? If so, these are known for the flaps behind the dash to click. There are plenty of threads on here about this, and there is an easy fix.
