Glow Plug light flashing

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Driving home from work, the glow plug light starts flashing (Car still drove fine etc) but pulled over and restarted the engine to try and clear.

Been searching around past topics where people have been saying its the brake switch. Now, all my brake lights are working, so am I right in thinking my fault lies elsewhere?

Ideally I should get myself a fault code reader, but as its under Skoda Warranty, worst comes to worse, I could always get them to look at it (If covered by the warranty of course)

Any help would be great

thanks guys

The light basically means electrical fault, so it could be anything. Buy a code reader, or see if there is anyone near you with VCDS or take it back to the dealer.

Its seemed to have fixed itself now! Started her up this morning and been driving all day and she's been fine.

Defiantly going to invest in a code reader next month though.

Thanks for your help though
