Hi Bob,

As Denis said it I assume your on the 4x4, handy my skoda thing isn't it :)

I digress.

The 4x4 is quite soft and has a lot of body roll. The ESP sensors will act like a handy of dinky (imagine a child and dinky car, child turns hand car responds) Now ESP cannot beat physics but you can turn and turn quite hard.

I found the best way and personally I didn't like it, but the best way fr me was to almost load the weight on the outside edge before turning, what do I mean?

Well it's hard to say but when the opportunity arises you flick the wheel a little, this gets the body weight on one side and weighted, you can then turn in quite hard.

I found the seats and body roll disconcerting, you will find that you are actually going quite quickly, many a corner I could enter and exit faster than a vRS if I knew the corner and was ready for the roll....those times I was not, the ESP sensors did the magic.

I fited coilover suspension to mine and this helped alot, but alos compromised it a lot. You could beprhaps consider stiffer anti roll bars as this will reduce the body roll. I have just done this on my RS and it's transformed it.

At the end of the day you have traction, so the age old slow in fast out does I'm afraid ultimatly hold true.

With confidence the 4x4 in normal form becomes a joy to drive, just knowing it will do what you ask and not tip over is half the battle :)
