I know that I'm thick when it comes to modern technology, but can anybody give me an idiot's guide on how to de-activate the traffic news on a Symphony unit? Every time I'm listening to something it gets over-ridden with news of problems 400 miles away! I've read the handbook but it's been no help. Many thanks, Bob

Press the TP button until it's not on the display

when i press the tp button it either does nothing or if i hold it down for too long it just enters a series of menus...

Think you just choose either of the FM channels and it overrides the traffic report

Hit the A/F button. That switches to non-TP/TA radio stations. Same if you're playing a CD, hit the A/F button, then switch back to CD.
