dont do it.

They dont add much looking at them and they leave a nice line there.

Look like an addon which to me is crap.

leave it as is mate, she looks stunning ne way.

Yes I dredged up some old pics from the forum :)

imo in their plastic black finish (as Rob's 1st pic) they look ok-ish (from a distance) - sort of reminds me of some of the plastic arches found on some Golf Mk.2

Up close though, those arches aren't so hot. As soon as you see the arch when painted (as in pic 2), they don't fool anyone. Look somehow cheaper than unpainted - as if off a cheap jap motor

Sorry I like them !! Each to there own. lol

 Looks ok as it is

As with most Milotec stuff it is a definite no from me.

Personally I wouldn't have them on my vrs but if we all liked the same stuff things would get abit boring! If you like them then go for it just make sure you do paint them though otherwise they would look out of place.

Very quick Photo edit attempt:

With the right wheels, I reckon they'd look okay. I had similar on my Mk1 Golf GTi and liked them. Maybe that's why I'm still a fan. :D

Could you photoshop a pic with your wheels on to see what they look like on yours? I'd considered them a few years back and chickened out. Have a go Rob and dare to be different.

If you moulded them into the body work, then maybe? Otherwise - tat.

Not to my liking. If you go ahead colour code and blend in if possible.

Ask and Rob shall create it. Nice work. Question is, have you convinced yourself it's a good idea or not?

I still kinda like them. But I'm not sure :)

General opinion is obviously a big no :D

I like them, but then I'm still a MkII Golf GTI fan, so I would, wouldn't I

Talked myself out of these, but this thread got me thinking about them again.

Noooooooooooooo

go for an arch pull and then fit some spacers!

Noooooooooooooo

+1

Don't do it Rob....

I am a fan like you of most of the Milotec stuff as we have most on our cars, but these arches look naf mate. They are just wrong, wrong design look like Golf Mk2 flares. The VRS would need bigger flares like the WRC ones and flat finish not that testured finish.

I know your tweaking is slowed down (coz you have done much of what can be done) but don't ruin a superb car mate.

Talked myself out of these, but this thread got me thinking about them again.

But the arch liners on that thread look alot neater fit than the ones above

DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no mate dont, i was joking.

Don,t do it.Look really duff.
