Best Rubber Bootliner?

Featured Replies

Hi all

Am after a rubber bootliner - what is the best one to get? This is for my hatchback.

Currently I have a Fabia one in there, but obviously

1. It's not big enough

2. The material means that stuff is slipping around all over the shop (I had that problem when I had the Fabia)

Planning to trim that down to fit my wife's boot - but I need an Octavia boot liner now...

Any suggestions?

I bought mine off ebay, it wasn't until it arrived that I realised it had come from the Skoda Dealer in Mansfield

Yep, I'd go for the Skoda one. There's a couple of options depending on what you're after. And yes, keep an eye on eBay. I got mine from the Classifieds here, when someone was trading upto a Superb.

I went for the rubber one, as I wanted to keep any debris off the boot carpet and stop stuff sliding about too. I use it in conjunction with the boot net and it's spot on. But there's also a plastic version, with a higher lip round the edge. That would be more useful if you were carrying wet stuff, or a load of stuff to the tip for example.

You can see the choices here:

I have the 'Rubber Bootliner DCD610001A'

That's the job, thanks!

I'm after a rubber one, not worried about carrying wet stuff, mainly want it to stop the dog's cage from sliding around in the boot when he's in there :D

Good stuff. There appears to be two versions of the rubber one. I *think* the difference iss one with cut-outs for the loading eyes and one without...

Yep.., I have the one with cut outs in which is very good. Although oddly, it is a tighter fit in the hatch than it was in my estate....?

How odd - I noticed exactly the same thing on this one of mine! Think it came from an estate owner, but there's only one part number listed? :S

I find it doesn't quite fit as well as it should on the bottom right-hand side, by the small 'netted off' section....

The skoda one - Look on ebay.

I haggled mine in when I bought new.

Bought mine from www.roofbox.co.uk. Perfect fit, but I have got an estate.
