Skoda Used Warranty

Featured Replies

When you get an approved used car with a warranty are you meant to get a booklet which says whats covered etc?

I received a single page receipt sort of thing but 3 weeks later still dont have anything else.

Also, is it true you cant claim on it for 30 days?

Oh and is flywheel usually covered if that plays up?

Thanks

I've had my VRS for 3 weeks and I have only received info about the service/MOT scheme

I bought mine 4 weeks ago and was given nothing from the garage, other than was told to take it to any skoda dealer if I had problems. Seemed all a bit vague but 2 weeks later a booklet come through the post with all the details. Apparently what happens is the garage you buy from notifys Skoda assistance who then send out the paperwork. Give Skoda assistance a call to see if they have got you registered and if not get on to the garage.

Ah, this time seems quite normal then.

Thanks for the replies.

At least you got a warranty - despite buying mine from a Skoda dealer listed on the Skoda website as offering a Skoda warranty it turned out not to have one. Complaints to both the dealer and Skoda themselves (for mis-representation) came to nothing. I should have doubled checked before paying... I can't check whether they've altered it since because Skoda's website is down as I write this.

Purchased my used Fabia in May from a Skoda dealer, one week later warranty certifcate arrived along with a warranty handbook and one years free full RAC cover.

I got mine bout a month ago- had the service and mot plan come through but nothing warranty related. I might give the dealer a call at some point :)
