Maxi-dot problems

Any thoughts on the following (Octavia SE+ with dealer-fit cruise control):

1. Maxi-dot door-open display is reversed; if you open the drivers door it shows as the passenger door being open and vice-versa. Only affects the front doors, not the rear. All other "handed" things seem correct; the indicators work on the correct side, the first press of the keyfob correctly unlocks the drivers door. Is this a coding issue, or wires got switched somewhere (and if so, where?).

2. Maxi-dot display gets "stuck" on the phone display; all phone functions work, but can't get to the main menu. Only way to get back to the MFD or Settings menu is to activate the navigation, at which point the "back/up" button on the steering wheel brings up the main menu on the maxi-dot.
