Caliper rewind tool?

Featured Replies

Ladies/Gentlemen!

What rear caliper tool do YOU use on your 256mm vented calipers?

Is it LHD/RHD?

Saw this one, what do you think?

Same as normal right hand thread so that one would be wrong.

The OP's is wrong, or my choice, sure mine is the 1314 Laser, it works fine.

I still haven't gotten around to-doing my rears yet! I really should before winter.

Sorry for asking again, but does anyone know if the Bergen one will be fine?

I know the Laser ones are of better quality, but I can't afford to spend an extra tenner on a tool that does the same thing as a £10 tool at the minte

When you factor in postage, the Laser is only £4.75 more. I'd buy the better tools every time.

But then I have drawers full of Snap-On and Facom stuff...

laser 1314 is on amazon for £15

Both sides done with it (discs and pads replaced) no probs

I have that laser tool one and well worth the price for the quality and ease of use. I have lent mine out a few times and asked for a few quid to use it. Have paid for the tool few times over now. Wish I could fix the dam mooing noise though.

get the brake balance weight kit - the polo/lupo/aroso part also fits
