Neuspeed Rear ARB or H&S front and rear

Featured Replies

Neuspeed Rear ARB 25mm @ £172

Neuspeed Rear ARB 28mm @ £193

or

H&R front 26mm and rear 22mm ARB for £260

If i was to go for one what do you think would be the right choice. Can a thicker bar actually create problems?

I have only ever had a rear ARB fitted to a car once before and it really did make a difference (civic vti 1.8) but that cost me £60 off Ebay and it was from an MG 180ZS. Is there another option for me other than brand new such as an ARB from say a golf, bora etc.

Cheers

Mk4 Golf R32 ARB is an option.

R32 a straight swap?

R32 straight swap front only, with Whiteline rear is a popular option due to price. Neuspeed option is a nice choice but more expensive, got Neuspeed on mine well happy with them 25F/28R, had to change the bushes on the front though due to wear, but luckily Superpro do replacement one's, which are cheaper and better qualityemoticon-0148-yes.gif

Food for thought. Just noticed one of my rear tyres was down to 20psi which has thrown a spanner in the works now....

that H&R setup wont gain you anything. They are the wrong way round, you need a thicker rear than front as the car understeers too much ne way.

R32 23mm front and the Neuspeed 28mm rear is what I have along with other trick bits and its ONE HELL of a handling package.

All depents on how far you wanna go.

the 25mm rear is a good match to the 23mm front. to save money too you could get the whiteline 24mm adj rear. Protect it well tho

With advice from here I have a Neuspeed 25mm Rear cost about £85 S/H and just bought an unused R32 Front ARB off a VW dealer on ebay for £55 (note they are now £110)

Just need bushes to fit front. and time.....

yea, thats the things doing the front, you need to drop the subframe either off or loosen it all off removing the front or rear(cant remember now)

For simplicity just get the 22/24mm rear whiteline and stick with the std front. really good setup as it is.

That'll do me then . I can always stiffen up the front if I feel the need at a later date
