Featured Replies

Had my vRS for about 10 hours, had a lovely drive home!

Red, 97k miles. Addicted to the power!

Will upload some pictures tomorrow :)

Look forward to seeing it.

Red is the best colour :)

Not that I'm biassed or anything.

Oh and the enjoyment of the go pedal will never go I think!

Sorry for the two bad quality ones, really windy up here and iPhone 3g has shockingly poor camera!

Nooo don't do it!!!

Go for uprated bulbs instead. You'll be 100% legal and won't blind everyone else off the road.

What colour light do these give?

Pretty white. The difference between these and standard is night and day.

Guessing you dont need the converters in like you do xenons?

Nope, they simply replace the standard bulbs.

Don't forget if you're a freedom member, you get a discount with powerbulbs as well emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Might give those bulbs a go! :) I don't want HIDs but something brighter and legal would be good :)

Definately avoid HID's.

The fabia light cluster isn't the best for them.

If it was a twin light unit with seperate reflector for high/low then it would be marginally acceptable.

I would remap but I'm concerned about reliability etc.

Besides the power is more than enough. Went like stink up garrowby hill the other day... the look on peoples faces as I shot past them! Plus it saw us up to 138mph (gps) on the autobahn the other week, 3 up and a boot full.

While I'm buying can you recommend the best full beam bulbs to match dipped beam and side lights aswell? Cheers

Since I've upgraded the dipped beams, I find myself hardly needing to use the full beams so I didn't bother with them.
