Back home to my VRS at last

Featured Replies

Got back yesterday evening there and my car was parked right where I left it 3.5 months ago. In 27Deg C heat I stripped out old camera and fitted the new and improved one and treated her to a lil trip down the road in hunt of a bit of German Autobahnage.

After my first 40 min ish in car I decided on a day like that id still rather have been out on 2 wheels  SO MUCH so that along with the fact I now have another car as it was cheaper than fitting a tow bar on octavia I might stop driving it and just sell it on!

Car goes to 140 ish then you feel it totally remove drive in the exact same way as a limiter would on a lorry might be something thats done to them now no idea but its fine all the way up to it then just for the needle indicated 140 when car thinks its there you feel it stop in pedal. Bike is great all year round other car is a lot more basic but mechanically perfect been over serviced its entire life and is sweet as a nut. Can't ride bike at mo still have a broken leg hence I bought a trailer and another car to tow it back :'( however along the route I got many waves from my fellow bikers.

I have seen needle go to 150 odd indicated but it was only due to downward slope and following wind! Had old camera on and no GPS data logging on it. But my sat nav has stats on it like top speed reached someone in work was showing off theirs to I took mine with me on bike one day :D unfortunately batt died before I did my big run but still got 170 odd on it was the war up period not return speed run still good though

Which cam is that?

Which cam is that?

cam is the DOD GS600 best priced for spec out there and small GPS data logging is a lot more than just the speed and coords like in that screenshot (screenshot does it no justice) Full 1080p at 30fps or 720p at 60fps good wide angle lenses doesn't look fisheyed at all

you can play it back by plugging into tv or laptop or just take memory card out into laptop has its own player program which shows your position on google maps heading and records g force on 3 axis at same time as speed etc or just play on any old media player and you still get what is in my pic above.

Here is the quality of that camera put it to full HD

here is the dod player
