Upgrading

Featured Replies

I was looking to be upgrading a few things in the near future and hopefully be able to get them all done at the same time these upgrades include: PD130/150 Hybrid, Forge FMIC, Full Milltek system with sports cat, Sachs/Helix Clutch, Quaife LSD, and Remap.

I'm Looking for around 200bhp so not to sure if i need anything else also has anyone had these upgrades done at the same time and how much did it cost and where did you have it done, I've guesstimated that it will be around £4,600 excluding Fitting.

I could probably save a few penny by doing some my self or would it be best to just let the experts do it.

Thanks Arron

I've got all of these upgrades on mine, apart from i'm Seat Sport FMIC and a decat in stead of sports cat.

Depends how well you think you can do the job yourself ?

I'm presuming you've already done brake/handling mods ?

yes just fitted new suspension, looking at big brake conversion soon which i can do myself but will get my mate to bleed as i'm not to confident in bleeding them, struts will eventually come along but not to fussed yet as i like strait line acceleration, not really a track day guy.

most of these mods will most likely be done next year as if i do them know my insurance will be diabolical.

another year another NCB :)

I had:

Hybrid 150 £1000 + £120 fitting

FMIC £470 + £80 fitting

Clutch £900 + £120 fitting

Custom map £250

Cat back £350 + £40 fitting

Total comes to £3330 with fitting, although some of the bits might a be little more now, and was running 200bhp.

I wouldnt bother with the lsd if you not fussed about tracking it much.

i know the lsd isnt needed but it would be a shame to leave it out :p

If mine didn't have it, i dont think i'd miss it that much, although it's a notable difference, but not essential.
