Wheel colour thoughts

Featured Replies

Back a piece I aquired a set of alloys from a bloke in a pub car park in Mansfield so that I could use them for some winter tyres. I'm doing a quick refurb and was wondering whether something other than silver might work.

It's a Satin Grey Roomster and the posibilities that have sprung to mind are:

1. Match the body colour - really not sure about how well that would work.

2. Black - practical, won't show the brake dust.

3. Gold - again not really sure, but bearing in mind who I bought them from.........!

4. Silver - boring but safe?

Pink / Luminous Green / Yellow and similar are definitely non-starters, so don't even think of going there! I'm open to suggestions but it's my business transport so it can't be outlandish.

Any thoughts?

Have to say that I was thinking that anyway, I came close to respraying the wheels on my Polo gold (the car was black) as I always liked the JPS colours.

I have a feeling that I may well be giving black a try. I can always put them back to silver next summer if it doesn't work.

Certainly didn't much like the red idea in the link you provided. Got to be prepared to give things a try, though.
