Friend of mine bought my old (I owned it a couple of years ago) 05 plate Octavia VRS, there's quite a bit of wind noise from the Drivers door which she would like to fix if possible.

Door looks aligned correctly but wondered if there was any adjustment to "pull it in" slightly or are we looking at something like new seals?

Well, all I can really say is that my car is older on a 52, at 103000 probably higher mileage, and doesn't have an issue, so check the door seats properly, and that the window closes fully before spending any money.

Yes, you can pull the striker in a little more, but you'll need a spline tool for this.

I have wind noise and I thought this would cure it but it hasn't. I haven't dared to price up a new seal but it may come to that!

I'd be interested to see if you find a solution.
