Things move on, I need something that's more ecomonical. The Truck is £550 to insure, the Octy £360. Truck tax £215, Octy £95. The Octy's a diesel, the truck unleaded. The truck does about 41mpg, the Octy should be closer to 60mpg. The Octy is way more comfortable too.

That's all very well, but does the Octavia look like an Australian's nightmare?

Update: went for a 200 mile round-trip in it today: the OBC claims 72mpg.
