Oil feed with new turbo?

Featured Replies

Should i be putting a new oil feed pipe with my new turbo?

For the small amount extra I`d do it

Absolutely. If you look at the warranty for the new turbo, you will probably find it void if you don't fit a new feed pipe.

Ace, i will make sure one is fitted.

How much are these pipes?

They're about £40 from VW I believe.

I've got one for sale for a tenner if you'd like (Not put it in classifieds yet).

Albeit, it's not brand enw.

I didn't change mine, and I haven't died.

My turbo even still works 2000 miles later, although I'm terrible to my car, sometimes when I change the oil, I don't use a brand new sump plug :o:o:o

Personally, I'd recommend one of these.

Just because of how easy it is to keep the line out the way when switching turbos! I know the stock oil line gets in the way somewhat when removing/fitting turbos.
