Skoda VRs caliper paint

Featured Replies

My calipers are in deperate need of a fresh coat of paint and with a new set of discs and pads alround awaiting to go on now is the perfect excuse... But i cant find any anywhere. Can anyone help? Or has any one got any of the old light green hammerite they want to sell.

Mods i have put a wanted add up but with no sucess, so figured this may get more views

thanks

If your looking for the infamous green colour, you can find it usually on E-Bay in large cans under, 'Hammerite' Smooth green.

But be careful as there is also Dark Green in 'Hammerite' Smooth green.

You might want to pay safe and get brake caliper covers maybe from 'Brembo' or use a colour that doesn't necessarily come in a large can?

You might get lucky with a member having some left over, fingers crossed there.

I used paints4trade web and ordered areosol high temp resistant spray in green, u got few greens to choose so good alternative for hammerite

Good luck getting the hammerite stuff the guys used to use. Apparently it has now been discontinued. Mine are black now, fancying white behind black wheels though if i get some 312's. Cant be ar*ed to paint them again now lol

I'm sure somebody a while ago posted the actual paint code/name for the green used on the callipers by Skoda, anybody know what it is as I'm off down my local paint shop this weekend and I wanna get some as my callipers have seen better days.

Ive got a tin of hammerite green in a can. Dont really need it as mine are red :)
