Skoda Yeti 2?

Featured Replies

Autobild magazine reckon in the future there will be two Skoda SUVs. A Yeti2 at about 4.3m long and a larger one at around 4.6m. A larger SUV is something the Skoda technical boss has mentioned already. Here is Autobild's impression of what the Yeti replacement might look like: http://www.autobild.de/bilder/neuer-skoda-yeti-1944031.html#bild1

Nice! Be good to see the other end.

nice grille but no wrap around front head screen and no separate lights on the front that look like and may be foglights.

What are those big round things then?

We have to remember this is pretty much just an educated guess of what the next car might look like based on Skoda's new design language. I guess the facelift Yeti is due first then a new model not for 3 or 4 years yet?

has got a look of the tiguan down the side looks good though

I don't know why, but it reminds me of a Hyundai/Kia - not sure which one.

why would they want to build a kuga

Looks like a facelifted Kia Sportage.......No thanks

Vauxhall Antara!!!!!!!! But I like the idea of a longer Yeti.

Nice.

Im liking that!

I hope the interior has been designed by Victoria Beckham !!!

If this is what the Yeti2 will look like then I think it's an improvement. The car looks more upmarket with the use of the Audiesque headlights.

Kinda similar to the recent facelifted Jeep Grand Cherokee.

In the original text were startermin: 2016. This new version might use the same platform as the new model which was in Frankfurt as MissionL.

My vote would be: use the new design ahead of the A pillar and aft keep as is. (But I'm not so sure that I have a vote)emoticon-0101-sadsmile.gif

Hmm lost its character.....looks like a Kia!

Mission L is on a Roomster platform alledgedly.

... or a Kuga.

Why do all Mk II or evolution cars have to be bigger than the outgoing model?

OK; I can understand the rational for a longer version with perhaps 6/7 seats giving a slightly more family orientated vehicle to perhaps steal sales from larger 4x4 such as the RAV4 or CRV but please let Skoda keep the relative smallness of the current Yeti, perhaps with a SWB 3 door version.

If MissionL is the forthcoming Roomster then the size would be much bigger and it would be estate anymore, MissionL

Current Roomster.

That just looks like the other cars in this group, dont see the point in trying to look like the competition ??

Like the different look of the yeti myself !

Read an opinion that the picture is a photoshop mod: a Tiguan with MissionL front added with round fogs. B)

What? The recent VW Touareg/Audi/Porsche is build in Slovakia already. Is VAG moving the SUV production to Skoda? Then there will be a group Audi/Seat/Skoda/VW vehicle with different front grilles, badges, prices etc. With "premium" Audi and VW models you just get little newer equipment and "brand".

I think the Skoda SUV will be on a different and cheaper platform to the Touraeg e.t.c. and the VW version will just be for the USA.
