I finally did it, I am now part of the remapping club and I am loving it!!!

It is truly one of the best mods out there. It makes the car so ferocious.

It's quite a strange sensation, 1 and 2 rocket then 3,4,5 seem quite quiet until you look down and notice you are hitting triple figures in 3rd.

Makes gear change different as well. Found myself taking high gears instead of lower gear. Took a bend in 5th today doing 30 and it didn't even struggle coming out of the bend.

Does transform the car.

sounds like fun, I'm yet to have mine mapped so hopefully I'll be having that experience soon. Is your car engine pritty much standard or have you done much to it that would enhance the map? And where did you get It done if you don't mind me asking?

A friend done it for me on the cheap so it was well worth it!

On my engine I have a compbrake DV, airbox mod which is normal for the map but I also have a single mass flywheel and they said because of that they where able to give me more power. so it has a slight surge as the turbo cuts off at the top of the rev range but nothing that is enough to bother me, but we did decide I am going to run it for a week, see how it goes then maybe re-right the map so it is more structured for my timing so it will be even smoother.
