Air box wise, I'm sticking with my LCR airbox

My turbo isn't suffering any lack of air input, if anything it was the old equal length mani holding up the show

I've got a green cotton airfilter, but thats all. Didn't notice any difference in performance between std air filter and green cotton tbh.

I have gone back to running my modded airbox for a while and may wrap my ABD CAI in heat wrap on the engine side to try to see if that helps as the alloy pipework does get hot.

Interested in this theory. Surely though the heat wrap retains the heat inside the pipework as the wrap reduces external temperatures of the pipework-if you know what I mean.

That's why you can heatwrap your downpipe and then be able to handle it after a half hour thrash.

Could be wrong...

I have to say my ABD keeps cool even on the hottest days. Only after it's been stood for a while does it get hot.

You are proably right there Steevie.

And to be honest when i felt my ABD it was 5 min after I had parked up. And I know the heat will soak back. I happened to lean my hand on the upper strut brace and boy that was hot too.

Mind you i have seen a lot of rally cars having heat wrap inlet sides. So may give it a go as i have the wrap anyway.
