no problems

good morning all

although i have not started any new topics for nearly a year now i do still visit once or twice a week, lots of newbies on here with problems looking for help and they usually get it from the usual members (you know who you are)which is why i signed up just over a year ago, problems with coil packs and ecu on my 1.3 mpi 1300 pick-up.all sorted now but was a pain at the time (thanks teflon tom and djaychela)

so...the reason for the post....its not a moan but praise for my pick-up which has been faultless for just about a year now,it works hard transporting my kayak up and down the river thames and also pulling my motorcycle trailer both for myself and freinds and still retunrs 36mpg when loaded on average

i`ll post some pictures shortly of the pick up in work mode

so....How many other skoda owners out there with reliable transport and what do you use them for ?

I had a 1.3 Felicia as a recce car. It took loads of abuse (did the recce for Rally GB 4 times, which means it did all the stages at least once, usually twice, plus was our transport to and from the parc ferme etc), I did several autotests and slaloms in it (beating a GT4 and an Impreza at one of them), and it was also my daily driver for about a year too. Never missed a beat, only needed minimal stuff doing to it - biggest thing was the timing chain when I bought it. Bought for £380 in 2006, sold for £375 in 2010. Brilliant car, wish I'd never sold it.
