Featured Replies

Hi guys.

Have a Fabia VRS. I have trialed and tested a few brands of tyres like the Nexen N6000 and Uniroyal Rainsport 2's and the Bridgestones ER300.

I would be interested to here what you guys are running on your cars and what you you think run the best.

My review is the ER300's but there fack1ng £110 a piece.

Cheers,

Gaz

Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3. Best tyres I've owned to date.

Loads of threads on this already though - have a search for more opinions

Hankook Ventus EVO 12's.

Cheap enough to.

I agree they are the best Summer tyres I've owned, however they don't like the cold whether at all. I have a feeling that Goodyear don't make them any more.

I've got Rainsports and like them at the moment. As mentioned above, there are plenty of threads about tyres on here if you do a search.

im running toyo t-1R's not bad tyres at all to be honest good overall grip on wet and dry as well as having a appealing tread pattern, rubber is sticky rather than being that horrible plastic crap. they rang from about £40 a tyre from demon tweeks but would have to find some where that fits customer bought tyres as i know some places wont fit them if they are customr bought. ive had these tires for about 9 months and they still have a good 5mm tread on them maybe slightly less, and i travel a 20 mile trip each day to work so they are used on a daily basis. hope this has helped :)

i have just had a pair of kumho ku39's put on the front of mine yesterday, first impressions are ok,cheap enough too, although i got them done by a mate and he did me a good price £70 each fitted, but i think they are only about £80ish anyway.

I have Maxxis MA Z1 Victra on the front of my mark II vRS, and they rock in the dry (some of the best I've ever had on hot dry roads, maxxis may be uncommon in this counrty, but they make race tyres abroad! :) ) , perfectly acceptable in the wet..... I getting proper winters soon though, the colder it gets the more the performance of these dropps.... wouldnt like to have them in sub-zero temps! will get them back on in april next year though!

reccomended for summer....
