Rear caliper mods

Featured Replies

I've seen a few people on here mention fitted springs to the rear calipers to try and stop them groning in reverse but carn't seem to find a part number or what VAG car there off

anybody?????

Hi mate, its not a spring, its a big rubber thing to push the lever fully off, you dont want it mate unless you have shed loads of money lol.

iirc its £120+ for the kit.

There was a thread on it lurking somewhere. someone will know

I've got them. They are very expensive from VAG, keep an eye on ebay for a kit, the lupo/fabioa kit fits too

I thought i had read somewhere somebody using passat rear caliper return springs,

Not paying the 120 quid for the damper mod bits

There's various part numbers for return springs in the Fabia I forum somewhere (try the useful sticky, I think it probably went in there under a handbrake issue thread). I used Sharan ones on my Fabia, think they were just over £7 for the pair.
