Northwest (ish) meets?

Featured Replies

I've been having a browse on the site, and whilst the local meets/camping trips look like good fun, (i attend many bike rallies) I'm far more interested in the older cars. The newest being the Felicia, with the OHV Skoda powerplant. Question is, are there any local meets/trips/runs for the older cars or am I being pedantic?!

Russ.

I am on Wigton Motor club committee and have run a Skoda OC stand at the Cumbria Classic event in August (at Dalemain outside Penrith) for the the last few years (show has over 500 entries usually). This year we had a Rapid, an Estelle saloon, an S110, a Favorit and a Fabia VRS. If you tune into the OC forum I will probably be doing it again next year....all entries welcome and a free BBQ!

 I think you will find you are welcome to join any Briskoda event whatever you drive. You're definately more than welcome to join the Skoda Owners' Club and attend any event you wish to.

You're welcome to turn up to the Cumbrian next year Dave!

 Good idea, hadn't thought of that!! :p

Dave....you would be most welcome...the Skoda stand is a pleasure to run every year and the more people come the better! The yellow Rapid would be the one for next year....so sort out the cooling!
