312mm caliper spring

Featured Replies

It's a simple tension spring to keep the caliper from cocking on the guide pins, and it also ensures the pads make light contact with the disc at all times.

If it's coming off there are several possible reasons.

1: Spring has lost it's shape and or tension

2: Spring locating lugs on caliper worn

3: Misaligned caliper to caliper frame

Thanks mate, they're new calipers so dont think the lug will be worn. It was a bad fit when it was put on so i'll try a new one.

Buy some new ones Chris, only a few quid from TPS!
