Fabia Wrc Receives Fia Homologation

Isn't Homologation something that happens to milk?

18" alloys for tarmac - luvverly.... Wonder if they did any major bodywork to get them to fit? I think they actually did to get the widest permissable track...? Wonder why they have dead narrow wheels for the snow? I thought you'd want good traction, and spikes for grip. 5.5J wheels sound really narrow... Or am I just bein' a bit 'fick?

I think its homogenisation BTW - I drink too much milk and must have read the labels way too much... I assume you knew the real word, and were just cracking a joke??? :)

even if the manufacturer

I wish they would remove this rule, and the 4wd one - to force manufacturers to sell 4wd turbocharged road cars - think of the choice if you could buy a rally replica xsara, 206, fabia :D, accent etc.

Imagine... I'd still have bought an Octy (although if I were buying today, the Fabia would be gaining more consideration!)

The only thing it would do is help force the price of such cars down, and Skoda would have to build a four wheel drive vRS. Luvverly! :D

..and a 4WD Accent would make 1 whole reason to buy a Hyundai!

You mean a 'cheap' Toyota?

A cheap Toyota?...I'd rather have a late 1980's Corolla GTI twin cam 3 door , if its all the same to you! ;)

The narrower the tyre, the more weight on each wheel (ie. the weight isn't being spread across a wider tyre), therefore, more traction per wheel (it cuts through the snow better) :)

was gonna say something like that re the snow tyre.
