No locking wheel nuts on the monte

Featured Replies

Just struck me that the monte wasn't supplied with locking wheel nuts.

Never, in 12 years, had a new car with alloys that didn't come with a set of locking nuts. Is thus normal with skoda or should the car have come with them?

It should! I thought it was standard on all skodas with alloys...

It definately should have locking nuts. Mine does!

Right, phone call to the dealer tomorrow then

How do you know it doesn't?

All Skodas with alloys come with them from factory.

Are you looking at the plastic caps on the bolts? They all look the same

Wast given a key for one, and, unless skoda are using very metallic plastic, none of the bolts appear to be a plastic cover

It's usually hidden in the boot by the spare wheel.

I wasn't given the key either, but it's there. And that's 15 inch alloys on a Greenline II !

As said above, they have grey (semi-metal looking) plastic covers so the locking one looks the same as the non-locking ones.

All Skodas with alloys come with them from factory.

My vRS didn't (bought in Republic of Ireland)

As said before look in the boot as the nut is in there where the spare tyre is. I thought this too but I found this and I do have them.
