no mention of the black interior for vRS?

Not yet sorry..

  • 7 months later...

I just drove a 2012 Scout. It was interesting to compare it with my MY2011 car. I spotted 3 differences:

1. As mentioned above, the grab handle has gone.

2. The "chrome" fascia surrounding the stereo/climate control etc. has a less smooth, more carbon fibre-eque finish than in my car.

3. The aerial is now semi-stubby, rather than the long skinny affair on my car.

Those were the only differences I could spot.

It was interesting to drive a DSG-equipped Scout. Although only the standard 103kW engine, It "felt" quite quick, but I suspect that's because it's easier to just plant boot off the line in a DSG car, than it is in a manual with all that tiresome clutch work required :giggle: .
