Had the old girl remapped today

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Some you might have seen my post yesterday. Had my car remapped at PC Motors in Bristol today with a phase 1 custom code remap.

I had the car 4 years and was looking at chopping it for and Audi but thought bugger it I will keep the VRS and map it. WOW.

Its a whole new car again. It pull nice and hard all the way through to 4k (when the traction control light isnt flashing away). Its also defines how Poo the Nexen N6000 are. Traction control light comes on and cant keep the power down with these tyres.

Did anyone else have this problem. I have just had it done so maybe Im just like a little kid in a sweet store :D

A remap is a sure fire way of highlighting mediocre tyres :)

So yes, not an unusual observation - especially at this time of year, with wet roads and quite a lot of leaves - makes for a nice grippy surface....

LOL, you sure picked the right time to have a remap. Just as we're heading into greasy, cold wintery conditions. Mine will spin up even with good tyres in these conditions, if provoked.
