I removed the after market radio which I fitted some time ago in our MY56 Fabia VRS no problem worked fine, Today I fitted my Alpine MP3 player which worked fine, but caused a problem when I tried to lock the car, my key fob would'nt work, lock or open. Removed the radio and its fine again. Has anybody any idea why this happened, and how can I get around this. Thanks Diane.

Yeah it's a wiring issue, you have a wire in the wrong place which is knocking out the cdl. Does the head unit remember its settings or keep reverting back?

Tech1e, I went to bed pondering the issue, I seem to think I lost programes, Could this be as simple as the RED + YELLOW wire. I could not dwell on the issue as up early for work, so removed radio totaly. Thanks for reply Chris.
