HELP to make pictures smaller

Featured Replies

Can anybody help please i am trying to load some pictures of my car to the site but it has to many mb. Does any body know how to make them smaller and could help me please, Thankyou

If you're relatively PC savvy, try googling a free program called Mihov image resizer. You can state how many pixels wide you want any image to be.

Also, if you upload to photobucket I believe there is an option to shrink photos on there. This doesn't actually shrink the file size though.

If you have large images, I might be wrong, but I think this forum automatically shrinks them to view on one page without scrolling but has a link to make full-size should you wish.

Easier to just host them and post the link...

Easy to use.

I use Google Picasa 3 which is great for organising all your pictures, easy simple adjustments and also resizing if you highlight say a 3mb picture click on file and then export to a separate folder it gives you the option to save to various sizes.Free to download and fun to use!

Host some photos on Photobucket, it's easy to upload to forums from there, auto resized. You managed to upload your Avantar Photo ok, I can't do that!
